Washington newspaper throws Seattle Sonics fans under the bus

It's pretty shitty when you think your going to read some other part of the state's newspaper and they're making fun of Seattle for losing the Sonics yet again, in light of OKC making it to the 2012 NBA finals.

The real crappy part of this post is the fact that the newspaper running the crappy headline is in the state of Washington.

We first heard about this story today listening to Dave Softy Mahler RANT about the Sonics and OKC on Sportsradio KJR in Seattle.

"All the work that we have put in since 1996 -- SOMEBODY ELSE GETS to celebrate and I'm PISSED!

"We had an opportunity to have the best player in Basketball in our city That drives me NUTS"

"We're never EVER going to get Durant back. People are hurting. That shows passion!"

"Everytime I watch Durant play, I like him, but he was ours, and we gave him away. Shame on us!!"

"I get it the team wouldn't have been what it was in OKC, but we drafted Durant. Sooner or later we would have won!"

"No disrespect to Gary/Kemp Durant is on another level. That's what really has me upset. We had that guy!"

"Don't include OKC in Sonics history. This is not first run since 1996. Where's the sensitivity!"

"To people that say GET OVER IT. I say NO! I'll go back work RED ROBIN before I get over it!

"And now this. (He goes onto rant about the Tri Cities newspaper)
