Breaking news reports spreading like wildfire on all media outlets confirms that Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks have come to terms on a multi-year deal.
Per Jay Glazer (@JayGlazer) The deal is a 4 year, $31 million deal, including $18 guaranteed.
This signing comes on the eve of the Franchise Tag deadline, which the Seahawks were planning on using on Lynch if they couldn't lock him up in time.
Seattle acquired Lynch from Buffalo mid-season in 2010. He is famously known around the country for his Beast Mode touchdown run against the Saints in the playoffs where the Seahawks shocked the defending world champs and ended their title defense early.
Lynched rushed for 1204 yards and 12 touchdowns last season for Seattle and made headlines again as a Skittles fan, a treat he eats after each touchdown he scores.
This now leaves open the possibility of the Seahawks using their Franchise Tag on Red Bryant.
What do you think, Seahawks fans?
How STOKED are you to see Beast Mode for years to come?!?!
