Former Seahawks receiver Bobby Engram has been hired as Pittsburgh's wide-receivers coach, joining the staff of Panthers first-year coach Paul Chryst.

Engram, who played in the NFL from 1996 to 2009, was a Seahawk from 2001 to 2008.

He was an assistant coach with the 49ers this season.

This is a hard pill to swallow for most Seahawks fans today. He's one of our own.
