Tavaris is definitely not a long term option. A positive scenario might be one where the Seahawks have an off year (6-10 doesn't seem that unlikely) and then trade a few assests for Carson Palmer. Lets say we give a second rounder and something else. After that the hawks draft a decent reciever, and then there'd be an offense to go with d.

On paper that might make sense, but Palmer is not the longterm answer for this team either. I'd rather have a longterm answer in the fold.

I'm jealous of teams like Atlanta, Tampa Bay, San Diego, Detroit, St. Louis, etc

Good Young QB's that will be on their respective teams for years to come.

I personally feel going 6-10 would be the worst possible thing for this franchise. You aren't good enough to make the playoffs or bad enough to acquire that next franchise QB.

Jackson isn't the problem either but you are nothing in the NFL without a franchise QB.

Jackson has given us one solid half of football all season. He clearly shouldn't be misconstrued as anything but filler. Just looking at this roster from top to bottom, I don't see how anyone can find 6 wins. It's a 3 win team at best...

He's no long-term solution, but he's doing the trick now, which is all we need. QBOTF drafted next season. He's progressively getting better as the line play is. Offense is opening up, and Doug Baldwin has stepped up in a huge way for him. We're going to make a serious run at a NFC West defense if they can continue this standard of football
