You know your getting old when you EASILY remember guys playing their first game for your beloved team as a young kid, now they're old, and retiring.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Jon Kitna has reportedly decided to call it quits.

The 39-year-old spent the past season with the Cowboys, but suffered a serious back injury midway through the year and was placed on IR.

The undrafted Central Washington star played with the Seattle Seahawks under Coach Holmgren. Who basically gave him a chance just before he brought over Matthew Hasselbeck. The 1999 season.

He spent four years with the Seahawks - the final two as the starter - before heading to Cincinnati.

It was there that he enjoyed his best season, throwing for 3,591 yards with 26 touchdowns in 2003 to earn the AP NFL Comeback Player of the Year award.

The Dallas Morning News reported Thursday that Kitna is set to end his 15-year career.

I posted on Mr Clint's post, too, but it was announced today that Kitna will be the next football head coach at Lincoln High School (Tacoma)
