Seattle vs. Carolina Insight / Analysis / preview

SEAHAWKS vs. PANTHERS (Oct 7 4:05 PM ET)

The Seahawks lost their last game and the main reason was that Russell Wilson had his first really bad game throwing 3 picks in a loss to the Rams.

Seattle played pretty good D, especially against the run, and Marshawn Lynch rushed for 118 yards with 1 TD and he averaged a legit 5.9 yards per carry. That is not good for a Panthers’ run defense that ranks 25^th in the league.

Carolina played a good game last week losing to the undefeated Atlanta Falcons 30-28 and Cam Newton had his best game of the season passing for 215 yards with 2 TD and 0 INT and he also rushed for 86 yards with 1 TD.

Even though the Seahawks do not have a dynamic offense they face a Carolina defense that did not play good last week. The Seattle pass rush has been decent this season and they have to get to Newton, who was sacked 7 times last week.

Have to go with the Seahawks even on the road, as I think they will win with their D and keep Newton from having a big game.
