In my eyes it was a good hit. In Pete Carroll's eyes it was a good hit. (By good we mean legal of course)
Pete Carroll: "Oh ya - I knew Golden Tate was fined. It was a fantastic block, in their eyes he clipped the guys facemask, in chin area"

Today however the NFL said Golden Tate has been fined for his block on Dallas Cowboys LB Sean Lee.
The NFL does not announce fines until Friday, but we are hearing it is for $21,000, since its a first-time offense.
The hit came when Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson fled the pocket and was running for a first down. Tate turned, saw Lee trailing the play and put a shoulder into him
Look at the hit here. Judge for yourself.
