Per the Seahawks.com twitter account today we've learned the faits of the men released by the Seahawks today.

The following players have been released, Phillip Adams, Pierre Allen, Allen Bradford, Deon Butler, Kris Durham, Paul Fanaika, Rishaw Johnson, Jermaine Kearse, Kyle Knox, Cordarro Law, Ricardo Lockette, Sean McGrath, Kris O'Dowd, Josh Portis, DeShawn Shead, Korey Toomer, Lavasier Tuinei.

Cooper Helfet, and Vai Taua have been waived with the designation of injured.

James Carpenter has been placed on the active roster from active/physically unable to perform.

Matt McCoy a vested veteran has been placed on reserve/injured list.

Walter Thurmond has been placed on reserve/physically unable to perform.

Pep Levingston has been waived from reserve/injured with an injury settlement.

Allen Barbre has been placed on the NFL's reserve/suspended list.
