Ex-Cowboys, 49ers, Bengals, and Eagles WR Terrell Owens agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday.

The 38-yrear-old Owens has not played in the NFL since 2010, when he caught 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns in 14 games for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Owens suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament the following April.

He played briefly with the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League.

As we said on our forums last night he earned a tryout with the Seahawks on Monday and impressed the team with a workout tht reportedly included running the 40 in 4.45 seconds.

There is no guarantee that Owens will make the Seahawks' regular-season roster.

A six-time Pro Bowl selection, Owens ranks second alltime in career receiving yardage (15.934) and sixth in receptions (1,078), and he is tied with Randy Moss for second in career touchdown catches (153).
