Last week Braylon Edwards worked out with the Seahawks during the same workout as Antonio Bryant. It looks like that Seahawks liked what they saw enough to sign him to a contract.
My man Dave Softy Mahler of Sportsradio 950 AM in Seattle tweeted it first.
Adam Schefter from ESPN has confirmed the deal.
Edwards signed a $3 million deal with the 49ers but ended up playing in just nine games. He caught 15 passes but was subsequently released in December.
In 2010/11 he had a good season with the Jets to the tune of 53 catches and 904 yards with 7 TD's.
John Schneider Pete Carroll and the Seahawks will give him every chance to make the team.
Golden Tate, Deon Butler, Doug Baldwin, Ben Obomanu, Kris Durham, Sidney Rice, are the holdovers from 2011 on this roster.
Antonio Bryant is newly signed. There are some young kids trying to crack a roster spot too, but they could end up on practice squads.
Ricardo Lockette, Phil Bates, Lavasier Tuinei, are all contending, and ex UW WR Jermaine Kearse is currently on the PUP.
It's a loaded WR camp now.
Competition is key.

It's never boring in Seattle with Pete Carroll & John Schneider around.
