Brian Banks offered a tryout at next week's Seahawks minicamp

We've learned today via the twitter feed from John Boyle that Brian Banks has been offered a tryout at next week's Seattle Seahawks minicamp.

The exonerated OLB Banks called today's workout with the Seahawks "by far the second best day of my life."

"I thank god for this opportunity. I am blessed"

Pete Carroll was later asked if Banks was going to make the team and he responded,

"It's very possible."

A great day for Banks. The young man who heard a judge in Long Beach, Calif., throw out his kidnapping and rape conviction last week after looking at a videotape of his accuser admitting she lied.

After 10 years, he was suddenly a free and innocent man.

In his introductory Seahawks press conference Banks went on to say he needs to speak to his agent before accepting a tryout offer due to visits scheduled with other teams to determine best plan.
