Seahawks sign hometown defensive back Donny Lisowski
Earlier today we learned via twitter that the Seahawks had cut 2012 UDFA London Durham.
We've now learned via twitter from Cornerback Donny Lisowski a 2012 rookie camp invitee that he's signed a contract with the Seahawks.
Quote:
Pete Carroll said in a post camp press conference that "I liked Lisowski. He's fast. He was all over the field out there, and made a ton of plays".
Lisowski made an impression over the last three days. That much is obvious. He made a pair on interceptions and deflected several passes. He was very noticeable marked several guys watching practice.
Lisowski was born January 20th, 1989. He's from Seattle, is 5-11 and 188 lbs.
He graduated in 2008 from O'Dea HS in Seattle.
He then attended Montana.
Per GoGriz.com
Prior to 2011 he'd played in 35 games.
2010: He played in all 11 games and garnered 8 tackles.
2009: He played in 14 of 15 games (he missed the UC Davis game with an injury). He had his first career start at Sacramento State. He was the Grizzlies' 19th leading tackler with 24 stops, including 17 unassisted tackles. 2008: He lettered as a "true" freshman and registered 13 tackles.
I think Seahawks fans will like this kid. He recently tweeted.
"Nobody can judge effort".
He's fast we know that. His 4o yard and 20 yard times are below.
40: 4.47/4.44
20: 2.63/2.64
Here's some video of Lisowski's pro day at Montana.
