First the Tampa Bay Bucs did some post-draft roster shuffling, releasing defensive tackle John McCargo and receiver Raymond Webber.
Then today the Seattle Seahawks claimed wide receiver Raymond Webber off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Webber was an undrafted talent from Arkansas Pine-Bluff.
He spent the 2011 season on IR nursing a hamstring injury.
Webber is signed for the next two seasons at base salaries of $390,000 in 2012 and $555,000 in 2013.
He is 6-foot-3, and weighs 220lbs.
He caught 180 passes for 2,376 yards and 16 touchdowns in 33 games at Arkansas Pine-Bluff.
As a senior, Webber caught 101 passes for 1,429 yards and 10 touchdowns, leading the FCS in receiving yards and finishing second in receptions per game (9.18).
