Seahawks sign three new players today
The Seattle Seahawks have announced they made 3 signings today, all 1 year deals.
For starters, the Seahawks re-signed CB Roy Lewis aka The Bow Tie Killa.
Last season Lewis had 12 tackles and .5 sacks in 10 games for the Seahawks.
Then they signed ex-Arizona Cardinal Guard Deuce Lutui.
And lastly, they signed ex-Tampa Bay Buccaneer and last year with the Titans Linebacker Barrett Ruud.
Last year in Tennessee, Ruud had 40 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, an interception and 3 passes defended in 9 games.
This changes the landscape some and adds extra intrigue to the draft 20 days from today. Now that they have another linebacker on the roster and still working on Leroy Hill, the Seahawks may have the flexibility to go out and grab the best available at #12 instead of a linebacker.
Time will tell, though.
Until then, welcome the new guys to the team!
