Bigby bolts for Chargers
Veteran safety Atari Bigby with the Seahawks last year has joined the San Diego Chargers on a two-year, $2.5 million deal, according to a league
Bigby, 30, had 18 tackles and a sack in 15 games with two starts last season for the Seahawks.
For his career he has recorded 182 career tackles, 10 interceptions and three forced fumbles.
It's also being reported Atari can make up to $4.5 million with playing incentives.

Chargers
The General Manager for the San diego Chargers AJ Smith is under a lot of heat. Him and head coach Norv Turner (former Duck QB) were inches away from being fired this year. He publicly spoke on the radio in San Diego saying "He knows it was a controversial decision, but believes it was the right one. Next year is a must win season for everyone" He was referring to keeping the tandem and not firing them because so many fans are up in arms over not making the playoffs two years in a row in a weak division.
AJ Smith has never signed so many free agents in in one offseason since I've been following the Chargers over the last 5 years. Robert Meachem, Eddie Royal, Le'ron McClain, Jarret Johnson, Atari Bigby, and Charlie Whitehurst have all been signed.
Seattle traded for Charlie Whitehurst after Pete Carrol was hired. Everyone down here was asking "What the hell are they thinking? He never played down here yet Seattle wanted him pretty bad. Looks like San Diego made out on that deal!
I really like the McClain signing. He will be blocking for Ryan Mathews and that tandem should do some damage next year. Maybe the running game can pick up and take the heat off the passing game.
I expect the Chargers to draft a big time offensive lineman in this year draft after the medical retirement of all pro Kris Dielman. They have the 18th overall pick in this years draft.
Is it football season yet?
