    Red Bryant back to Seattle

    Per Adam Schefter from ESPN.

Red Bryant has re-signed with the Seattle Seahawks for 5 years, $35 million, including $14.5 million guaranteed.

In 2011 Red played in 16 games, had 2 interceptions, 20 tackles, 1 TD, 1 sack, and a handful of blocked kicks becoming one of the Seahawks best players on defense.

NFL Networks Michael Lombardi also reports that Seattle keeps Red Bryant, one of the best defensive lineman on the market.

Red had a huge year last year for Seattle.

One of our highlights of the season last year was Our when Red a 323lb lineman grabbed himself a interception and did the high step into the endzone for the touchdown early in the 3rd quarter.

Absolutely ecstatic about this. And to those who said it was too much money....are you kidding me?!

The Dolphins and Patriots were both throwing the SAME amount of money at him. He's valuable. His stats may not be huge, but look at his impact on the line. The rush yards per game given up increases 40 yards when he isnt in the lineup.
