The Seattle Mariners announced Thursday morning that Adam Moore would be out an unspecified amount of time after suffering a broken right wrist on Tuesday following the M's game in Cactus league play versus the Reds.

Moore blocked the pitch and remained in the game but arrived at the ballpark on Wednesday in pain.

X-rays were taken and revealed a fracture in the third metacarpal in his wrist.

He will be placed in a cast and his timetable for a return will be determined after he sees a hand specialist.

Moore played in just two games in 2011 and appeared in 3 games this spring, hitting .667 (4-for-6) with 4 runs scored, 1 double, 1 home run and 3 RBI.
