61 Players in Major League Camp are Signed for 2012

PEORIA, Ariz. -- The Mariners today issued the following signing update.

The Mariners have agreed to 2012 contracts with the following 18 players:

Pitchers (7) - Blake Beavan (RHP), Steve Delabar (RHP), Lucas Luetge (LHP), Yoervis Medina (RHP), Hector Noesi (RHP), Mauricio Robles (LHP), Chance Ruffin (RHP)

Catchers (3) - John Jaso, Jesus Montero, Adam Moore

Infielders (5) - Alex Liddi, Francisco Martinez, Kyle Seager, Justin Smoak, Carlos Triunfel

Outfielders (3) - Johermyn Chavez, Chih-Hsien Chiang, Carlos Peguero

These signings bring the total of signed players on the Mariners Major League 40-man roster to 34.

The six players yet to be signed include two pitchers (RHP Tom Wilhelmsen, LHP Cesar Jimenez); and four outfielders (, Mike Carp, Trayvon Robinson, Michael Saunders, Casper Wells).

All 40 players will be signed or renewed by March 2.
