Ok. We need to find out where Kyle Seager fits in the plans for the Seattle Mariners in 2012 don't we?

There's three guys trying to grab one spot the way I see it.

Chone Figgins, Kyle Seager and Carlos Guillen.

Figgins is finally healthy, and we're hearing talk about him possibly hitting lead -off too. Last we heard though Wedge told reporters Monday he had no news to report about the team's leadoff situation.

Sure Seager can play multiple positions, but don't we all as M's fans want him at 3rd?

Seriously.

Most MLB teams want their young up and coming kids to be every day players to get them the Big league time we all know you need to stick at this level.

Problem is with so many guys in camp on minor league deals all it will take is a breakout pre-season by say Guillen, or Luis Rodriguez or Munenori Kawasaki to possibly send Seager back down to AAA ball in 2012.

Mariners GM Jack Zduriencik said the team will find a spot for Seager if he shows he's ready, can he really afford to though?

Your thoughts?
