Mariners avoid arbitration with Kelley, Vargas and League
AS first reported today by MLB.com's Greg Johns reports that the Mariners have tentatively reached 1-year deals with pitchers Jason Vargas and Shawn Kelley, their two remaining arbitration-eligible players.
Tuesday at 11 a.m. was the deadline for teams to sign their arbitration players.

Kelley confirmed his deal via Twitter, writing, "Got my deal done, ready for baseball now".
We've also found out via Jon Heyman on Twitter that earlier Tuesday the M's avoided arbitration with Brandon League by signing the reliever to a 1-year, $5 million deal.
