The Seattle Mariners unveiled a new logo

Mariners blog Lookout landing tells us the latest about the Seattle Mariners unveiling a new logo on Wednesday.



This logo will be worn on the right sleeve of players' jerseys at the beginning of the upcoming year to commemorate the franchise completing the 12,776th day since their inaugural game on 6 April 1977.

I think that the official patch is going to have the number 35 indicating years instead of days. The bottom banner will then have 1977 on the left and 2012 on the right. It could have been more creative, as the 30th adversary patch was, but it really isn't anything as significant as the my oh my patch from this year.

Yeah it's gonna be 35 years on the patch, saw the update already. Looks good, will be nice to see it on the uni's this year. Hopefully they keep the tribute patch to Neihaus, but I doubt that will happen

MLB just released the old school Mariners logo onto their authentic/on field hat line as well. Will they be wearing throwbacks this upcoming season? It's the one with the old school M.
