The 2012 Seattle Mariners‬ starting lineup for Friday's series opener at ‪the Chicago White Sox‬ features one BIG change.

Ichiro Suzuki is back in leadoff spot.

The Mariners got this one right in my opinion. He's lost a ton off his batting avg. He's familiar with the lead-off spot. I hope this works.

What is accomplished is that Seager, Ackley, and Montero, and then Smoak is the NEW middle of the lineup. The core and future of this team. Together. Finally.

This season was supposed to be about is seeing how the young guys develop. By giving them an opportunity to continue to grow this move will hopefully let us see the future of this team.
