Per the Twitter account of the Seattle Times Geoff Baker today. (Seattle Times Mariners blogger) we've learned that the Mariners are sending utility man Casper Wells down to AAA Tacoma Rainiers today.
Miguel Olivo is healthy again and on his way back up to the M's roster.
Looks like Chone Figgins will survive. Casper Wells going to AAA.

This is pretty much the worst Mariners news I could report today. Chone Figgins should be released from the Mariners, not this move.
This move is making me scratch my head more than I usually do with regards to the M's.
Why can't they just cut bait with Figgins? Why are we afraid he'll go someplace else and thrive? He's not going to hit .300 for any other MLB team. Enough said.
Cut Figgins NOW Jack Z. Nobody is going to trade for him. Not at least a human being.
