What's the deal with Oreskovich? They hate him?
Yeah this is tough to see. Just look at Marc Savard. I hope we don`t remember him as a poster boy for mental safety.
Should be an easy game, but those games aren't usually. Either 6-1 Vancouver or 2-1 Columbus.
I think the younger generation doesn't really remember how bad things used to be. There were some really rough years early. It's definately a Golden Age.
Can't ask for a better start. I was worried Kesler would drop off with Booth out, but he looks like he can play with anyone at the moment. Sure does feel like a home game with that crowd.
Yeah, this Alberts over Oreskovich move surprises me. Didn't he already quit hockey once before? He's definately in the doghouse.
Any update on Higgins? I really like this guy and we need him back with Booth out.
Did they send Oreskevich down? I guess he dodged a bullet too.
You're right, could have been worse. As long as he's back for the playoffs.
I like this throwback to the 80s. They should take the old names too. I am concerned with how two divisions have eight teams and two have seven. That doesn't seem fair to me. Is this for expansion?
Any word on David Booth? Something tells me it could be Months and not Weeks.
If it wasn't for all the injuries, this would have been a great game. That was quite the offensive explosion in the third. Absolutely beautiful goals too. Two by Hansen? I always thought he had stone...
That Kevin Porter knee-on-knee was absolutely shameful. There's no place for a deliberate attempt to injure like that and I hope he gets some games for it (not that losing Kevin Porter would hurt the...
Really looking forward to this one but at the same time it's the Preds so it'll be boring. Wouldn't Shea Weber/Ryan Suter look good on this blueline?
Luongo will get his chance once Schneider cools down. Schneider v Sanford tonight shows you how far this team has come in backup goaltending.
The Oilers will drop off at some point this year. The team I'm scared about is Minnesota. How are they doing this?
The Canucks have to ride the hot hand and Cory Schneider is their guy. Should be an easy win tonight, Columbus is just a horrible team. Rick Nash is one of the more overrated players in the league.
Team's gonna let this slip away if they're not careful. Lulay hasn't looked great, certainly not the league's Outstanding Player.
It's a good idea, but frought to second-guessing and Luongo could be mentally fragile enough to retreat with some internal competition.
Fantastic game last night from the boys. Good to see Alberts get in the board and crazy to see how many goals Hank has to start the year.
These games against San Jose are always good and I can't...
We've had too many Dany Saborins to give him for just anything. If a fantastic offer comes along, jump on it, but having two great goalies is a nice luxury to have and Schneider is a good dependable,...
It'll be interesting to see how Bambi plays when he gets back. He didn't have the greatest year last year, but the kid's got speed. Still kills me how his season ended and how the Boston fans treated...
This one of those nasty hangovers that stays in your head well into the evening. Unless Minnesota somehow keeps this up, this team is still a lock to be at the top of the northwest by years end. And...
So nice to see the boys back in action, it's been a slow week. Not having any games last night was tough. Anyway, I expect a good solid effort tonight, Phoenix is a well-coached team and can...
