NBA Lockout update

Well I'm officially still not over the sonics moving to OKC but I'll save that rant for another day.
Speaking on ESPN Radio, Stern refused to put a fixed deadline on getting a deal done but did say,

"We have the risk of the season slipping away from us."

The sides will meet separately today with federal mediator George Cohen in New York before getting together tomorrow with Cohen. He's the guy who tried to resolve the NFL lockout earlier this year.

Oh by the way this marks the league's first work stoppage since 1998-99 when the schedule was reduced to 50 games.

Opening night was scheduled for Nov. 1.

Cancellations will include all games through Nov. 14.
