Oregon Live reporter Mike Tokito today is reporting that LaMarcus Aldridge and team trainer Jay Jensen few to Vail, Colo., to have his ailing hip evaluated by specialist Marc Phillipon, the team announced.

Aldridge will not be with the team when practice begins at 11 a.m. today, and his status for Wednesday's game against Golden State is questionable.

Aldridge had what the team called a "precautionary" MRI on the hip on March 28 after he experienced soreness.

Aldridge, who made his first All-Star Game this season, had 20 points and six rebounds in the Blazers' loss to Houston on Monday. It was his eighth consecutive game with 20 or more points.

For the season, he is averaging 21.7 points and 8.0 rebounds and shooting 51.2 percent, which would be a career high.
