Elliot Williams is OUT for the season

Elliot Williams will undergo surgery on his injured left shoulder, he told reporters last night (including Chris Haynes of CSNNW.com). The surgery will sideline the 21-year-old guard for the remainder of the season.

In 24 games this year Elliot Williams averaged 3.7 points on 50% shooting in 6.2 minutes per contest.

The Blazers drafted Williams 22nd overall pick in 2010, saw his first NBA action this season.

He's expected to be 100% healthy for next season.

Williams' surgery will take place on March 30th.
