What we know from #BlazersEdge
Portland Trail Blazers guard Jamal Crawford was held out of Wednesday night's game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden and was not on the team's bench, according to Blazers Broadcasting.
Joe Freeman of The Oregonian reports that Crawford was on the team's post-game flight to Chicago.
According to multiple reports, the Portland Trail Blazers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers are involved in 3-team trade talks that could send Blazers guard Jamal Crawford to Minnesota, Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley to Los Angeles, and Lakers guard Steve Blake to Portland.
Will the Trail Blazers make a move?
Oh for the record. The Blazers suffered the fifth most-lopsided defeat (42 points) in franchise history last night.
Trailblazers TRADE Gerald Wallace to the Nets - In exchange for Mehmet Okur, Shawne Williams and a first-round pick.
New Jersey is 4 games out of the final playoff spot, looks like there trying to make a late push by acquiring Wallace.
Wallace will be an unrestricted free agent if he opts out of his player option of $11.4 million for next season.
The Blazers just got a top 2012 pick (could be No. 4 overall) from the Nets in a loaded draft for Wallace
First reported by Marc J. Spears on Yahoo Blazers will acquire center Hasheem Thabeet and guard Jonny Flynn from Houston for center Marcus Camby!
With this news it has to be said the Trailblazers are NOT holding back with shaking up their team that has just been brutal in 2012.
