Chip Kelly Changes Mind - He's Now Staying

As we reported the news at the REGISTER-GUARDIAN about 30 minutes ago, it appeared a Chip Kelly move to Tampa Bay was a sure thing.

Adam Jude is now reporting that Oregon head football coach Chip Kelly told a highly placed UO source late Sunday night that he has reversed course.

He has now decided to turn down an offer from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"I'm staying" he said.

This latest bit of news has Oregon fans going crazy and the rest of the Pac 12 has their hands covering their faces again.

What a roller coaster evening.

It was a done deal per the many sources I read reports from. BUT I am willing to bet he saw the ripples just the rumors were making and stayed. He was probably jumping ship like his star players with impending NCAA sanction coming this spring
