Ducks Dion Jordan goes #3 to Miami
Dion Jordan, who played a large role in helping revolutionize Oregon’s defensive scheme due to his athletic prowess, was chosen with the third pick of the 2013 National Football League Draft by the Miami Dolphins Thursday evening in New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.
The Dolphins pulled off a last-second trade with Oakland to move up from the 12th position to No. 3 to secure the rights to Jordan, who became this year's first defensive player to hear his named called by Commisioner Roger Goodell.
Jordan becomes only the fifth Oregon defensive player ever to be chosen in the first round.
