The San Francisco 49ers selected running back LaMichael James out of Oregon with the 61st pick in the second round.

The 5-foot-8, 194-pound James, Oregon’s all-time leading rusher with 5,082 yards, joins a crowded backfield in San Francisco.

We all know all to well that LOUDMOUTH Jim Harbaugh following the 2010 Stanford-Oregon game compared James to Pro Football Hall of Fame RB Barry Sanders.

James has been compared to New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles (5-6, 190). He'll probably return punts for the 49ers this year.

What is going on in San Francisco? Rock Cartwright, Anthony Dixon, Frank Gore, Kendall Hunter, Brandon Jacobs, and now LaMichael James.

Outside linebacker Josh Kaddu of the Oregon Ducks was a fifth-round pick by the Miami Dolphins. Kaddu (6-foot-3, 229 pounds) was the 155th pick.

Kaddu had 50 tackles and 6 1/2 sacks last season.

Offensive lineman Mark "Papa" Asper went in Round 6 (178th overall) to the Buffalo Bills.

David Paulson went to Pittsburgh in the 7th round (240th pick overall).
