ON Sunday the Oregon Ducks basketball team at Matthew Knight Arena mounted a ferocious comeback, storming back from down 15 to up as much as 12 and finishing off Iowa in the second round of the NIT, 108-97, to advance to the quarterfinals.

Next up for Oregon is a Tuesday trip to Washington, where the Ducks lost 76-60 in December.

The winner of that game will advance to the NIT semifinals at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Said Garrett Sim,

"We never got too down on ourselves, we knew we could climb back into it. We didn't panic at all ... the veterans kept everyone cool, and we kept making plays for each other."
