As you'll see from the articles I write for NWSportsBeat, my name is Brandon Choate.

I was a Navy kid but mainly raised here on the Eastside of Seattle (North Bend). Since I began following sports, Seattle was my city and I became a fan of every single Seattle team.

I took a little hiatus to California for the last 6 years. While in California, I fended off USC, UCLA, Chargers, Niners, Rams, Raiders, Lakers, Clippers, and Galaxy fans and came to the defense of our Seattle teams every chance I had.

I'm back in Washington now, living in Issaquah.

I love writing and I love sports so it made perfect sense to join the NWSB team.
