    Remembering the Vancouver Grizzlies

We'd like to think the Grizz will always have a home in the hearts of Vancouver - Victoria, BC basketball fans. So having said that here's a little respect for em!

Our Vancouver Grizzlies Basketball History Top 5 Players article.

Did we miss anyone? Oh How I miss Bryant Big Country and his bad hair.

We in Seattle feel your pain! Definitely not fun having your team taken from you and moved!

Well with the Hornets now being run by the NBA there is definitely a chance that Vancouver could get a team again! According to David Stern, Vancouver is one of several cities being considered as a potential home for the franchise. There were a few stories about it last year on ESPN, but as there is a strike right now it's been out of the news. However, we still would need an owner of some kind, and I can't think of anyone who wants to buy into a league where 22 of the teams are losing money....but it would amazing to get a franchise that had a legitimate NBA superstar in Chris Paul. All of the former Grizzlies in the above mentioned article were good players, but none were in the same league as Paul (even if he is playing on one leg).

And to the Seattle fan, losing your franchise and then watching them become a top five team in Oaklahoma City must hurt. My sympathies. If Vancouver doesn't get the Hornets, I hope that Seattle does.

being that I grew up a Sonics fan it was very very hard for me to like the Grizz. It would have been easier if a hometown talent like Steve Nash had played there, but northwest hoops to me will always be the Sonics.
