Beware Thy Neighbor! Week 14 NFC West Matchups + Previews

VIKINGS vs. RAMS (SUN DEC 16, 1 PM ET)

The playoffs are not here yet, but this is, pretty much, a playoff game for both of these NFC teams, as the loser is most likely out of the post-season. The Vikings are coming off a solid win over the Bears and with QB Christian Ponder really struggling the Vikes will have to really lean heavily on NFL leading rusher Adrian Peterson to win.

The Rams have won 3 straight and they are playing well on both sides of the ball. Sam Bradford needs to limit his mistakes in this game and RB Steven Jackson has to help him out on offense.

The Rams rank in the middle of the pack in both pass and run defense, but their run defense is key in this game, as if they can keep Peterson from having a HUGE game they have a great chance to win.

I think Peterson will play well, but it will not be enough and the Rams will win their 4^th straight game.
