Beware Thy Neighbor! Week 14 NFC West Matchups + Previews
RAMS vs. BILLS (SUN DEC 9, 1 PM ET)
The Rams are still the playoff picture with last week’s huge OT win over the 49ers and to stay there they will have to beat the Bills on the road. However, the Bills have won 2 of their last 3 games and they have been playing good defense.
Another concern for the Rams is that they gave up almost 150 yards last week against the 49ers and the Bills racked up over 230 rushing yards in last week’s win over Jacksonville.
The Rams and their D needs to focus on Bills’ RB’s Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller since the Bills WR corps is dealing with a few key injuries. Buffalo QB Ryan Fitzpatrick needs to limit his mistakes in this game and make some plays with his arm, but the Bills’ rushing offense is the key to them winning.
Sam Bradford may be without the injured Danny Amendola, but rookie WR Chris Givens has played well in the last couple of games. Still, like the Bills they will need a good game from their rushing offense namely Steven Jackson, who struggled last week to run the ball, but did have 5 catches for 69 yards.
Have to go with the Bills in this one, as they have been playing good defense and their rushing offense will carry them to a win.
