Beware Thy Neighbor! Week 13 NFC West Matchups + Previews

Colin Kaepernick will be making his 3rd straight start even though Alex Smith is healthy. He has played well in the last 2 games and has not lack of targets led by WR Michael Crabtree and TE Vernon Davis. While the Rams gave up a lot of yards through their air in their last game, which was a win over the Cardinals, they had 4 INT.

Obviously, Frank Gore Iis a key to this game, but a bigger key may be Steven Jackson who had a great game last week against Arizona. He has to run the ball well since Sam Bradford cannot do it all.

The 49ers’ defense ranks 2nd in the league defending the pass and 4th defending the run, but in the tie a few weeks back against the Rams in San Francisco they gave up 299 passing yards and 158 rushing yards with Jackson rushing for 101 yards with 1 TD.

The Rams looked impressive in their last game, but even at home they will not win since the 49ers will get back to running the ball and playing great defense.
