Beware Thy Neighbor! Week 13 NFC West Matchups + Previews

To say the wheels have fallen off for the Cardinals is an understatement, as they have lost 7 straight after winning their first 4 games. They will go with rookie QB Ryan Lindley again because of injuries to John Skelton and Kevin Kolb and while he passed for over 310 yards in the Cardinals’ last loss he threw 4 INT and 0 TD.

The Jets were crushed on Thanksgiving giving up 35 points in the 2nd quarter alone. Mark Sanchez is on the hot seat, but did pass for over 300 yards in the loss to the Pats. This time around he will face a solid Arizona pass defense and a good pass rush, which has the 5th most sacks in the NFL.

Shonn Green looked good in the Pats’ game, but he did not get much action since Sanchez has to go to the air to come back. He will be facing Arizona and their 23rd ranked run defense that looked terrible last week allowing a ton of yards on the ground in their last loss to the Rams.

Beanie Wells has missed most of the season with injuries and when he came back last week he failed to impress only averaging 2.8 yards per carry and overall he rushed for under 50 yards. He will be facing a Jets’ run defense that only ranks 30th in the NFL.

The Jets will bounce back in this game simply because they are facing a reeling Arizona team.
