Beware Thy Neighbor! Week 6 NFC West Matchups + Previews

GIANTS vs. 49ERS (Oct 14 4:25 PM ET)

This game is a rematch of last season’s NFC title game and both teams are coming off wins. The 49ers (41-) set a franchise record in total yards last week and Alex Smith has the highest QB rating in the league. He has many weapons and Frank Gore and the rushing offense is one of the best in the league. The Giants did win last week, but they gave up 27 points to the winless Browns.

Eli Manning finally got some help from the rushing game with Ahmad Bradshaw rushing for 200 yards last week. Don’t think that will happen this week facing Aldon Smith & Justin Smith and a great San Fran run defense.

The Giants’ defense has struggled this season and for them to win Manning and company may have to light up the scoreboard, which is far from easy facing such a great 49ers’ defense.

Unlike last season’s title game the 49ers will win this time around, as they will play solid on both sides of the ball, especially on defense.
