CARDINALS vs. PATRIOTS (Sept 16 1 PM ET)

The Cardinals have their work cut out for them in this non-conference match up facing the Patriots in their house. Kevin Kolb will make the start and gets yet another chance to show he should be THE man under center.

No shock that the Pats struggled on pass defense in their season opener, but Brady was solid, Stevan Ridley gained 125 rushing yards in his first start AT RB, and New England totally stuffed the run. The last 2 things are key, as in the Cardinals opening win they struggled to defend the run and their rushing offense was horrid.

Kolb must have a big game to pull off the upset, but he may do so the Cardinals will not be able to run the ball and their defense will not be able to keep Brady and company from lighting up the scoreboard.
