BC Lions 2012 CFL Schedule Released

Are you ready for the 2012 CFL season BC Lions faithful? The CFL today announced the defending Grey Cup champions schedule.

BC will open the new season with a rematch against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at B.C. Place Stadium, the same venue where the teams met to decide last year's title.

PRESEASON

June: 13 vs. Saskatchewan, 7 p.m.

June 21: at Edmonton, 6 p.m.

REGULAR SEASON

June 29: vs. Winnipeg, 7 p.m.

July 6: vs. Hamilton, 7 p.m.

July 14: at Saskatchewan

July 20: vs. Edmonton, 7 p.m.

July 28: at Calgary

Aug 6: at Toronto

Aug. 19: vs. Saskatchewan, 4 p.m.

Aug. 24: at Winnipeg

Aug. 31: at Montreal

Sept. 8: vs. Montreal, 1 p.m.

Sept. 15: vs. Toronto, 4 p.m.

The reigning CFL champion BC Lions will open their first full season at BC Place since 2009 with a Grey Cup rematch versus the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Friday, June 29th (7:00 pm) as the CFL released its 2012 schedule this morning.

The Leos will begin their 59th season with back-to-back home tilts as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats come calling a week later on Friday, July 6th (7:00 pm).

The 2012 Lions home schedule includes a total of four Friday night tilts and four Saturday match-ups in September and October, two of which are afternoon affairs. Fans of the Lions will also enjoy a Sunday afternoon kickoff in August in the club’s first full slate of games at the recently-renovated BC Place.
