An official press release today from the BC Lions announced this morning that defensive back Anthony Reddick has signed a contract extension with the team.

“Anthony has contributed in many ways to making our team into a champion,” said Lions VP of football operations and GM Wally Buono. “His signing brings depth and stability to a very good group in the secondary.”
Reddick enters his third year with the Lions after appearing in 31 games over the past two seasons.

The Florida native has recorded 73 defensive tackles and added 28 more on special teams as well as four career interceptions and eight sacks.
