Steve knows that this team has the talent to go 3-0 the rest of the way and get into the Pac-12 Tournament on a high note, but the question here is will they? With games against the Cougars, Trojans, and Bruins (nationally televised), the Dawgs definitely have a shot at doing so.

He still has CJ Wilcox, but the team cannot rely on one players back to carry the rest of this team. Clinton thinks that Romar’s day’s are limited, and if he doesn’t get shown the door after this season, he will be very soon.
NWSB Insider and Washington Huskies football blogger Chris Hall is back to tell us all about the top WR recruit the Huskies just landed, Damore’ea Stringfellow. As he briefly spoke about in a previous post, Stringfellow is out of California, and regarded as the best WR in the recruiting class. A player with athletic talent, he will give Keith Price another target to throw to, that is if he doesn’t red shirt, like Chris believes will happen. Stringfellow has the ability to out-muscle, and out-jump DB’s across the Pac-12 spectrum, which will be a plus for a below average QB like Price turned out to be last season.

But, as Chris points out, a good team needs to have at least a decent special teams, and Cameron Van Winkle can, and will, put the Huskies in a better position than they were last year. Other top signings in Chris’ eyes were WR Darrell Daniels, C Dean Crane, DT Elijah Qualls, and LB Sean Constantine.

The easy, and even obvious choice for over achiever is CJ Wilcox. Leading the team in scoring, he was the man who needed to step up his game more than anybody else with the departures of Tony Wroten and Terrence Ross to the NBA after last season. Aziz N’Diaye is another overachiever.

Standouts were Bishop Sankey, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, and Kasen Williams. If the Huskies played in a different conference, they could have been a 10 win team easily. The Pac-12 is second best to the SEC in today’s football world.
