At this point in the college football season, neither UO nor OSU is where they wanted to be. This game is about bragging rights, but it’s also about salvaging the year. Having players like De’Anthony Thomas, Marcus Mariota, Sean Mannion, Brandin Cooks, Byron Marshall and Thomas Tyner on the field doesn’t hurt, either.

A loss for the Cougs likely sends them to Albuquerque for the New Mexico Bowl. A UW win gives them 8 wins on the year. They could be headed to San Francisco for the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl or may wind up in the Las Vegas Bowl if they should lose.
