Vancouver Canucks goal of the year? Edler vs. Blue Jackets (Video)

Bobby Edler!?

In the Vancouver Canucks vs. Columbus Blue Jackets game tonight we saw what might be one of the NHL goals of the year by the Canucks defenseman Alex Edler.

Coast to Coast!

If you listen carefully you can hear former goaltender Kevin Weekes on the CBC Hockey night in Canada broadcast team say “Coast to Coast and Butter on the TOAST!”

The goal put the Canucks up 3-1 on the Blue Jackets.

Thanks to CanucksHD YouTube Channel. Which looks much better than my mobile version found on our youtube channel. (LOL)

It’s now 3-2 after 2 periods in Vancouver. Columbus scored a late 2nd period marker. The Canucks are finally getting some offense from their best players.

Watch out NHL. This could be the goal that turns the Canucks losing streak around.

So casual, I love it. What a talent.

Lemme just say Kevin Weekes BUTCHERED that call. It’s “Coast to Coast like Buttered Toast.” Larscheid said it perfectly back when Jovo did it all those years ago.

Oh and apart from him saying that, you can also hear Weekes having multiple orgasms as the goal is scored. “Oh, Oooh, OOH! OH!”

I’m terrified as to think what Weekes sounded like back in his playing days with a defensive performance like that. Doresett’s hands in the air say it all, just pathetic on the penalty killers’ part.
