With the Vancouver Canucks Alex Edler and Daniel Sedin & Henrik Sedin together on Team Alfie in Ottawa this past week, while Cody Hodgson explores the dark side of Team Chara, the rest of the Canucks have had to keep themselves busy.

Here are five of the hottest rumours around town about what some of the rest of the team members have been doing to kill time.
1. Raymond
Mason Raymond has been packing several suitcases in anticipation of several supposed trades. Right now his bags are waiting in his hallway with such proposed destination tags as Montreal, Anaheim and Dallas. At least Boston is not an option… yet.
2. Rome
Aaron Rome has secretly flown off to his Italian city namesake to ask the Pope to bless his stick, so he can get back to the miraculous scoring streak he was on earlier in the year.

3. Hansen
Jannik Hansen is on low dose testosterone treatments to bring his voice down out of the cartoon character range, and into the human realm, in a bid to deepen his appeal to Pamela Anderson following her surprise visit to the Rogers Centre last week.
4. Gills
GM Mike Gillis has been working on an alternative to a trade this year by talking to the scientists up at UBC on how to develop a youth serum to bring back a healthy, in his prime Trevor Linden for this year’s playoff run (while also liberating him from those hokey Clearly Contacts ads).
5. CoHo
Cory Schneider and BC Lions quarterback Travis Lulay have been duking it out for the prize of Vancouver’s finest redhead athlete.
Top prize: a free get out of jail card for the next reviled ‘Kick a Ginger’ day.
