I’ll believe that when I see it.
I’d bank on him being out till mid February.
He was brought in to help the Canucks second line from Florida for a couple guys (It’s so long ago I can’t even remember their names). Now Booth has to sit and watch until 2012.

Canucks David Booth is out 4-6 weeks with an MCL sprain
Tell me honestly, when you saw this injury didn’t you think it’d probably be an ACL, and he’d be done for the year?
Acquired from the Florida Panthers in October, Booth has five goals and seven assists in 19 games with the Canucks. He had only one assist in six games with the Panthers.
Booth has three 20-goal seasons in his first five years in the league.
Booth was injured in Tuesday’s game against Colorado on a knee-on-knee hit by the Avalanche’s Kevin Porter.
Bill Sweatt has been called up to replace him. Looks like we could also see a defenseman play forward vs. Montreal.

Vancouver Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo is admittedly fine after taking a puck to the neck during Tuesday’s game against the Northwest Division rival Colorado Avalanche.
All in all. Good timing Mason Raymond. Now do something with the ice time!
