Way To Use Your Lid
Vancouver BC – ON a night that saw the Vancouver Canucks win a chippy contest 4-2 over the Detroit Red Wings most fans will remember this game for something else other than the scoreline.

Chris Higgins and Cody Hodgson scored 21 seconds apart midway through the first period and the Vancouver Canucks never looked back on Wednesday.
But Daniel Sedin found a body part to play with during a hockey match. Yes folks, he used his head.
Skilled with his feet, skilled with his stick, now also skilled with his lid.

Daniel Sedin heads a puck in NHL action tonight. Vancouver Canucks vs. Detroit Red Wings.
Post game Daniel Smiled and said “he was definitely trying out something new.”
“I figured Hank might go down the wall there and I thought I could get it to him, but it didn’t work out.”
“I miscalculated Hank’s flip of the puck there. Next time.”
Coach Alain Vigneault said after the game
“It was hard fought, took it to us pretty hard [but"] the goaltender stood his ground, as a great goaltender does.”
Vancouver plays division foes Calgary Friday night and then Edmonton Monday, two lower-ranked teams the Canucks love to take points from.
Here’s hoping Daniel Sedin is ok to play by then. I’m sure he might be experiencing some headaches post game after our play of the night.
