Phil was quite generous actually, giving out a few A’s to the Leo’s coach’s. The biggest and brightest A of them all though goes to head coach Mike Benevides for the job he did with the Lions all season long. If not for two games against Calgary, the Lions could’ve been the team hoisting the Cup in 2012.

He says the Stamps played arguably their finest 60 minutes of defensive football this year in 34-29 win Sunday at BC Place Stadium to earn a trip to Toronto for Sunday’s Grey Cup.

His latest venture into American politics, via twitter, landed the gregarious lineman in some hot water after using a racial slur in one of his latest tweets. Mitchell used the term “chink” in commenting on Tuesday night’s U.S. presidential debate.
