NWSB Insider and Managing Editor “Q” weighs in with yet another post on Pavel Bure. The iconic Canucks legend who deserves to have his jersey retired by the Nucks organization. Bure played for 12 seasons in the NHL with the Canucks, Florida Panthers and New York Rangers. He played his first game for the us on November 5, 1991. Owner Francesco Aquilini brought Bure back to Vancouver this week. Vancouver let him know they appreciated him still.
NWSB Insider, Seattle Mariners blogger Q tells us the 25 players named to the Mariners Opening day 2013 roster. Felix Hernandez, Hisashi Iwakuma, Joe Saunders, Brandon Maurer and Blake Beavan. Jason Bay also made the squad in place of Casper Wells.
NWSB Insider and Vancouver Canucks blogger Q found this awesome video about Roberto Luongo and Cory Schneider featured during the Canucks / Predators matchup Thursday on TSN in Canada. What a rivalry these two have started in the nets in Van City. They both say the media has blown the ultra competitive rivalry between the pipes over the top.
